Finnish rock band Apocalyptica wanted a cover for their new album that represents the unique rock-cello fusion and the mood of their music represented in the band’s name. The first pitch concept here uses a collection of demolished rock instrument parts, recomposing them into a mutated cello. The second concept visualises the band’s name in the form of an apocalyptic meteor leaving behind a cello shaped trail.
